Starting February 23rd\, we will be offering a Professio nal Standards Training Series. In order to meet the requirement to join th e Professional Standards Committee\, all 5 segments within the series must be completed.
\nThis course will take you through the inception of the Code of Ethics\, a breakdown of the Code of Ethics and provide an overview of the Professional Standards System.

Segment 2 - March 1st at 10am:
< span style='font-size: 12pt\;'>CRMLS Rules Overview and Citation Review Requests
\nThis course will go through the most common MLS rule violations and the Citation Review Request process.

The Grievance Committee determines whether a complaint\, on its f ace\, merits a formal Hearing on the matter by a Professional Standards Co mmittee Panel. This course will teach you how to analyze complaint to dete rmine if a due process hearing is warranted.

Segment 4 - March 18th at 10am: Professional Standards Hearing Panels
\nThe Professional Standards Co mmittee provides Ombudsman services\, hears complaints in matters of ethic s and conducts mediation and arbitration hearings. This course will take you through the ethics and arbitration hearing processes\, hearing panel d uties and etiquettes\, and how to provide Ombudsman services.

Segment 5 - March 22nd at 10am:
\nBoard of Director Reviews an d the Presiding Officer’s Role in Hearings
\nThe Board of Directors are the appellate body for the Association’s Professional Stand ards Program. This course will take you through the Original Presiding Of ficer’s role in Review Hearings and the appeals process.
