Our Professional Standards Committee is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team. If you have a genuine passion for expanding your knowledge in the real estate field and contributing to maintaining high ethical standards among North San Diego County REALTORS®, this is the perfect moment to get involved.
Starting on January 17th, the California Association of REALTORS® will offer complimentary online Professional Standards Training Courses. Completing all four courses is mandatory in order to apply for North San Diego County REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee. Below are the courses that are being offered.

Course 1 - All Volunteers Training
January 17, 2024, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Course Description: Training for Professional Standards Volunteers - Led by C.A.R. Attorney, Brian Polinsky.
Course 2 - Grievance Committee Training
January 18, 2024, 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Course Description: The Grievance Committee determines whether a complaint, on its face, merits a formal Hearing on the matter by a Professional Standards Committee Panel. This course will teach you how to analyze complaint to determine if a due process hearing is warranted or if a citation should be issued. Led by C.A.R. Attorney, Brian Polinsky.
Course 3 - Professional Standards Committee Training
January 19, 2024, 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Course Description: The Professional Standards Committee provides Ombudsman services, hears complaints in matters of ethics and conducts mediation and arbitration hearings. This course will take you through the ethics and arbitration hearing processes, hearing panel duties and etiquettes, and how to provide Ombudsman services. Led by C.A.R. Attorney, Brian Polinsky.
Course 4 - Board of Directors Training
January 22, 2024, 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Course Description: The Board of Directors are the appellate body for the Association’s Professional Standards Program. This course will take you through the Board of Director's review process of Grievance Committee decisions, Hearing Panel decisions for Final Action and how to facilitate Review Hearings. Led by C.A.R. Attorney, Brian Polinsky.
